The Power Of Partnership – Ps. George Mosena
Lead Scriptures: Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV) – Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
It takes more than one person to bring the vision to pass. Partnerships are not only key in business but also in the gospel. The gospel is free. There is more that we can accomplish when we are together.
In today’s fast paced environment, a “do it alone” approach will not work.
Together we are better!
Individually we are just drops, but together we are an ocean.
Philippians 1:1-11 (KJV) – Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: 2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. 8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Any partnership, big or small will work better when there is a shared goal.
Establishing a common purpose acts as a strong glue to hold our purpose together. Clear communication between partners is essential for the vision to succeed.
Partnership involves cooperation and working together.
Philippians 4:15-19 (NKJV) — Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I [g]have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
When you give, you overcome all the shortfalls that you have as God makes you prosper. Do not wait until the conditions are perfect. Commit and God will show up!
