New Year Disciplines For Success (Part 6) – Ps. George Mosena
The Discipline Of Being You
Psalm 139:14 (NKJV) – I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
You are made in a unique way. There is grace when you function in the way God created you.
It is easy to be you rather than to be somebody else. When you do you, you don’t have to pretend. There is no grace in your life to be somebody else.
There is POWER in being you. When you are comfortable in who you are, it allows your uniqueness to come out.
The anointing will not be on you when you are living somebody else’s life. When you step out of your place, you will struggle to be effective.
You can be a better you than anybody in the world. You are anointed to be you! Quit focusing on what you think you don’t have, and make the most of what you have.
Be an ORIGINAL! Counterfeits are confiscated and destroyed. Be genuine and comfortable in how God created you. You do not need validation from others to know what you are worth.
Do not impose your gift on others. Our responsibility is only to cultivate the unique character that God has instilled in each person.
Do not wear yourself out trying to impress everyone. You can never please everyone or be right all the time, so why to be something no-one can ever be? You will become paranoid, stressed and obsessed with your reputation.
BE YOU! Live in the purpose that God has created you to be.
